黄色いお花はピンポンマム（ポンポン菊）です。

ピンポンマムの特徴は、何といっても球状に咲く花姿です。

一般的な菊は満開時に約180度開きますが、ピンポンマムは茎の根元までびっしりと花びらがつき360度開きます。

和のテイストを持ちながら丸く咲く花は珍しく、茶華や生け花、和装の際の飾りなど、和の場面を飾るのに重宝されています。

お正月の飾りにもピッタリですね！

手前の白いお花は白菊です。

白い菊には「真実」という花言葉がついています。

また、一番奥に飾られているのは若松です。

松は、常緑樹で1年中青いため「永遠の命」の象徴です。

不老長寿として縁起が良いと言われているのです！

かわいらしい花もちと並んでお正月感を演出していますね。

正月料理のおせちや赤飯などに添えられていることもありますよね。

これは縁起物というだけでなく、南天に含まれる「ナンニジン」という成分に食品の腐敗効果が見込まれるからだそうです。
