ひな祭りとは、女の子のすこやかな成長と健康を願う、3月3日の「桃の節句」の行事ですね！！

な人形や桃のお花を飾ったり、蛤のお吸い物やちらし寿司などを食べたりしてお祝いするところも多いですが、それぞれにちゃんと意味があるのです(^_-)-☆

昔から人が掛かる病気や災厄などは人形に代わらせることができると信じられていたことから、身代わりになってもらうようにと飾られてきました。

雛人形を飾る時期も、地域や家庭などによってそれぞれなようです。

一般的に、2月中旬の立春を過ぎたころが雛人形を飾り始めるベストのタイミングとされています。

片付けのタイミングにも諸説あるようですが「3月3日を過ぎたら早く片付けるべき」という説はよく聞きますよね！

それは身代わりとなって邪気を吸い取ってくれた雛人形を長く飾っていると、その邪気から婚期が遅れてしまうという理由のようです。

It seems that the time to decorate the Hina dolls also depends on the area and home.

Generally, the best time to start decorating Hina dolls is after the beginning of spring in mid-February.

It seems that there are various theories about the timing of tidying up, but I often hear the theory that "it should be tidied up early after March 3rd"!

It seems that the reason is that if you decorate the Hina dolls that have absorbed the evil as a substitute for a long time, the marriage will be delayed due to the evil.

ひな祭りの行事食もいくつかあります。

・ちらし寿司

ひな祭りといえば、ちらし寿司を連想される方も多いですよね。

ひな祭りとちらし寿司には特に関係はないのですが、華やかに彩られた具材には意味があります。

海老には「腰が曲がるまで長生きしますように」

れんこんには「将来の見通しがいい」

豆には「健康で、まめに働き、まめに生きる」

そしてシイタケには「元気・壮健を願う」などの意味が込められています。

·chirashi sushi

Many people think of Hinamatsuri as chirashizushi.

Hinamatsuri and Chirashizushi have nothing to do with each other, but the gorgeously colored ingredients have meaning.

For shrimp, "Let's live long until the waist bends."

Beans are "healthy, work diligently, live diligently"

And shiitake has a meaning such as "wishing for good health and wellness".

・菱餅

菱餅とは、桃色・緑色・白色の餅を3段に重ね、菱形に切ったものです。

菱餅の3色には諸説ありますが、桃色には「魔除け」、緑色には「長寿や健康」、白色には「清浄」とそれぞれの意味があります。

ちなみに菱餅が菱形になったのは江戸時代から、3色になったのは明治時代からといわれています。

・ Hishi mochi

Hishi mochi is made by stacking pink, green, and white rice cakes in three layers and cutting them into rhombuses.

There are various theories about the three colors of Hishi mochi, but pink has the meaning of "amulet", green has the meaning of "longevity and health", and white has the meaning of "clean".

By the way, it is said that Hishi mochi became a rhombus from the Edo period, and it became three colors from the Meiji period.

・蛤（はまぐり）のお吸い物

二枚対になる貝殻でなければ、ぴったりとキレイに合わないハマグリ。

そのことから、仲睦まじい夫婦を表し、「一生一人の人と仲良く添い遂げるように」という願いが込められ、蛤（はまぐり）のお吸い物が食されるようになったといわれています。

・ Clam soup

Clams that don't fit perfectly unless they are paired with shells.

From this, it is said that clam soup has come to be eaten with the wish to "get along with each and every person for a lifetime", representing a married couple.

・ひなあられ

4色のひなあられは、それぞれ「春・夏・秋・冬」を表し、四季のエネルギーを取り込んで、1年を通じて健康と幸せを願うという意味合いがあります。

女の子のいる家庭でないと触れ合う機会が少ない行事かもしれませんが、厄を払うイベントとして、一つ一つ意味を考えながら行事に参加するのもいいですよね！！
